What’s more American than Broadway theater? It’s a wild mix of the old and the new! It’s sometimes thrilling, sometimes awful! It’s increasingly priced beyond the means of all but the wealthiest people! Next week, however, you'll have an easier time getting your hands on cheap Broadway tickets. As part of the new Spar-Spangled Broadway initiative, eight Broadway shows are offering $40 tickets for performances near the Fourth of July.

Six musicals and two straight plays are participating, including some of the best Broadway shows out there. If you haven’t seen She Loves Me, The Crucible or Fully Committed yet, now is the time to do it, since all three are in limited runs that will end in July. The Tony Award-winning, long-running Fun Home and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time are also in their final stretches; they are scheduled to close in September. For just four Hamiltons, tickets to those shows can be yours. Catch the dramatic fireworks while you can!
Visit the Star-Spangled Broadway web page for tickets and more information. Here are the eight shows involved, and the performances for which the discounts apply.
