Bruce Springsteen will play eight weeks of intimate shows in NYC

Any way you put it, the blue-collar bard of New Jersey will be playing an eight-week, five-shows-a-week run of solo performances at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre, according to a report in the New York Post. The 975-seat theater is quite a bit smaller than the arenas and stadiums he usually fills, so if you found yourself cursing at your computer while trying unsuccessfully to buy LCD Soundsystem tickets recently, these shows should be a similarly hard ticket to nab.
