Apparently, Back to the Future II wasn't that far off about what today would look like

The future is—apparently—now. In 1989's Back to the Future II, Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel from 1985 to this exact date — October 21, 2015 — to save the next generation of McFlys, triggering a chain of events that involves Biff ruining everything. While director Robert Zemeckis and screenwriter Bob Gale were unable to predict China's economic rise or Drake's dance moves, they did nail a few aspects of modern day.
