Good God.

It's clearly a week for sugar-filled, artery-obliterating, fabulously delicious dessert obscenities. Yesterday, we got word of Stuffed's doughnut ice cream sandwiches, and today, we're going to do you one further: a funnel cake ice cream sandwich. Hold onto something.

American Cut Steakhouse in Tribeca has just unveiled its new invention, inspired by Pastry Chef Kristen Moorer. Starting now for Restaurant Week and extending through the end of the summer season, American Cut is offering hot, powdered funnel cakes with a weekly rotation of outrageous flavors stuffed inside. This month, you can dig into the Funfetti, which comes with sweet cream ice cream, rainbow sprinkles and powdered sugar; and The Cracker Jack—which packs buttered popcorn ice cream, caramel popcorn and caramel sauce.

At $9 a pop, this is about as real as dessert gets.
