Forget lemons. This restaurant is making lemonade out of vodka.

Starting tomorrow, and continuing every Friday all summer long, Pergola (36 W 28th St) is putting a boozy twist on a childhood classic. An “adult lemonade stand” is being set up at the venue, just behind a retractable garage door façade, to entice passersby with refreshing, chilled treats.

From 11am to 8pm on Fridays, you’ll be able to swing by the stand and grab a FrutaPOP “Petal Pop” made with Lemonade, Tito’s Vodka, Elderflower, and Edible Flowers. (So, no. This is obviously not the sugar-and-water lemonade of your youth.) In addition to the pops, the stand will also be selling Chandon 187ml bottles and Wolffer Estate Cider No.139.

But just a head’s up, the tart treats cost $8 each. So you probably won’t be able to get away with just throwing a quarter in a glass jar.
