This Saturday, April 16, yet another Record Store Day is upon us. That means many of your favorite local shops will be opening early, selling exclusive releases, and hosting DJs and other special treats. Unlike past years, there doesn't seem to be a ton of in-store performances scheduled, though one shop that will have free live music is Rough Trade NYC. The store opens at 9am, with DJ Eli Paperboy Reed deejaying at 10am and performances from acts including Wall, Nothing and Mr. Lif starting at noon. Curious about whether the record store near you is participating? Consult our handy list below, which rounds up all the participating retailers in the five boroughs.
