A massive indoor food market opens in Williamsburg this fall

One of the best things to do in New York is grab a bite at one of the many flea markets serving tasty grub around Gotham. (We see you, Smorgasburg). Speaking of which, the popular food fest recently relocated to Soho after fleeing its former Williamsburg home this spring. (Sad face.) But North Brooklyn residents can cheer up with this addition to the Brooklyn food market scene.

That's right: Williamsburg is getting a new, 15,000-square-foot indoor bazaar, featuring a slew of temporary and mainstay purveyors serving delicious fare thanks to creative agency MRKTPL and local development firm LENY. The twosome have created a foodie haven, fittingly coined North 3rd Street Market, since it's located on North 3rd Street between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue. And the joint is set to open next month.

Currently, the lineup of vendors includes Di Fara Pizza, a seafood and raw bar by Chef Ed McFarland, Fany Gerson’s La Newyorkina, JaJaJa Mexicana, Mission Ceviche, Sweet Road Bevs, A&E Supply Co. and Champion Coffee. We’ll keep you posted once we know more, but for now, go find your stretchy pants and get ready to gorge.
