Kick off Kwanzaa the best way we know how—with a bar crawl, of course.

The brainchild of Bedford-Stuyvesant comedian Kerry Coddett, the Kwanzaa Crawl aims to support black-owned businesses in Brooklyn with a hop between sixteen bars and restaurants in Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, Fort Greene and Park Slope on December 26th, the first day of the week-long holiday. Participating venues include Bed-Vyne Brew Bar, Vodou Bar and Bedford Hall.

Grab a $10 ticket (which includes a wristband and commemorative cup) and meet up with fellow crawlers on the 26th at Bed-Stuy's Restoration Plaza (1368 Fulton St) at 1pm to get the celebrations started.
