After an Amazin' Run, The Mets ended up losing the World Series last night to the Kansas City Royals letting down pretty much everyone except Paul Rudd. Naturally, the team's fans (many of them new) quickly took to Twitter to register their disappointment.
On Saturday night Daylight Savings Time gave us an extra hour of sleep and last night The Mets took it away.

The Mets lost the World Series. This is the worst thing to happen to Queens since the NY Times declared it "the next Brooklyn."

I still love The Mets. They are always there for me. When things get really bad, they are there to show me things could be Met-level bad.

I'm sad about the Mets, but I always like it when good things happen to Paul Rudd.

I know that stolen base might cost the Mets the series. But: free Taco Bell breakfast.

The Mets should use Daylight Savings to turn back their clocks to 1986.
