For a select few the word “blossom” conjures up images of Mayim Bialik or Joey Lawrence, but for most everyone else it’s a sign that spring has finally sprung.
This past weekend, thousands of visitors flocked to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden to celebrate the annual cherry blossom festival, Sakura Matsuri. In addition to blossoms in full bloom, the 35th edition of the festival brought out countless cosplayers to celebrate the Japanese tradition, hanami, and celebrate every moment of cherry blossom season.
