The owners of Royale and Cafecito are behind Williamsburg's latest whiskey-focused tavern, decorated with lace curtains, black-and-white patterned wallpaper and antique mirrors. The Royale's beloved burger (all-Angus beef patty on a sesame-seed bun) made its way across the bridge, along with a menu of hearty pub grub, like fried chicken wings and beef hot dogs. But the focus here is the 55-bottle list of the brown stuff, which emphasizes small-batch bourbons, including Michter's 10-Year-Old Single Barrel and Four Roses Small Batch. Drinkers can also choose from classic cocktails, like a Manhattan and a Sazerac.
