Owned by Irish-born hotelier John Fitzpatrick, the Tap overflows with an after-work/precommute crowd. Chatter overwhelms the pop tunes as bargoers down British pints (20 ounces) of Guinness and Harp. There’s also a menu of pub food (we like the steak sandwich), antique railroad equipment, old Gaelic signs, a brick fireplace and a plasma-screen TV.
