The Poetry Project at St. Mark's Church

Housed in a beautiful old church, the Project has hosted an amazing roster of poets since its inception in 1966, including Allen Ginsberg, John Ashbery and Adrienne Rich. With its workshops, lectures, book parties and tributes, the legendary space continues to be a mecca for poets old and young.
