The Mark Bar (CLOSED)

Greenpoint hipsters have co-opted another local bar; this one’s a high-ceilinged alehouse with dark-wood paneling. Sixty-five beers, such as Leffe Blonde and Radeberger, are only $4 during the 4 to 8pm happy hour; warm-weather cocktails like a classic mojito are just $7. There’s a pool table in the back and Scrabble on loan. Stop by on a Monday night: The DJ will play a band he guarantees you’ve never heard of.
