Time Out says

Sometimes all you need is good, simple food, good music and a disco ball to dance under. Luckily, The Last Call in East Williamsburg offers all these things. If you want to get some fresh air, the Japanese-inspired dive bar has an outdoor area that is blanketed by trees, greenery and Japanese light ornaments.

The food is affordable and is a great vibe for a casual date or a happy hour with co-workers or friends who enjoy sake. Try the frozen sake colada and the yakitori wings. The bar offers unique experiences like a pop-up ramen experience every Tuesday and a pop-up yakitori food experience every Friday. Every Wednesday is trivia night where you can win gift certificates or a round of shots.

What’s on

Raw Like Sushi

When it first started in 2018, Raw Like Sushi was a way for sushi chef/DJ Fresh Rollman to combine his passion for music with his culinary expertise. These biweekly events have combined sushi with slinking grooves across New York. You can attend one at Manhattan’s Studio 151 on Monday nights or each Thursday at The Last Call in Williamsburg. If you’re not into sushi, this might not be the night for you, but the Williamsburg bar also offers chili cheese fries and chicken wings on Sushi and Vinyl nights. Plus, on a lucky night, you might run into legends like Anderson .Paak or Statik Selektah. Between the variety of options to nosh on and beats booming throughout the night, you can’t miss Raw Like Sushi.
