Some swank restaurants corral diners in bars that feel like holding pens. Not this minuscule hangout. It has so much charm and style that few patrons realize it’s related to the eatery across the street (a full menu during restaurant hours and enticing snack plates are tip-offs). Soigné regulars aren’t put off by the slightly uncomfortable wooden seats and stiff tabs, because the artful top-shelf cocktails, and an upbeat soundtrack, more than compensate.
