Down in New Orleans, Ana Castro displays her roots at Acamaya, a contemporary Mexican mariscos concept that celebrates the bounty of the Gulf of Mexico. While open less than a year, Acamaya has already begun to receive high praise. Next week, chef Castro is coming to Superbueno for a special dinner.
On Tuesday, November 19th, chef Ana will bring a taste of Acamaya to New York. The first guest chef to pop up at Superbueno, chef Ana and her sister and co-owner Lydia Castro will descend upon the Lower East Side bar for a four-course tasting menu:
1st course: Smoked Hamachi Tostada
2nd course: Parsnip Tamales
3rd course: Beef Cheek Roulade with hoja santa and ayocote beans
4th course: Candied Chile de Onza with chocolate cremeux and tonka bean whipped cream
Tickets are $90 per person plus tax. A beverage pairing will be available for an additional cost. Reserve your spot here.
