Superbueno Welcomes Chef Ana Castro from Acamaya

Down in New Orleans, Ana Castro displays her roots at Acamaya, a contemporary Mexican mariscos concept that celebrates the bounty of the Gulf of Mexico. While open less than a year, Acamaya has already begun to receive high praiseNext week, chef Castro is coming to Superbueno for a special dinner.

On Tuesday, November 19th, chef Ana will bring a taste of Acamaya to New York. The first guest chef to pop up at Superbueno, chef Ana and her sister and co-owner Lydia Castro will descend upon the Lower East Side bar for a four-course tasting menu: 

1st course: Smoked Hamachi Tostada

2nd course: Parsnip Tamales 

3rd course: Beef Cheek Roulade with hoja santa and ayocote beans

4th course: Candied Chile de Onza with chocolate cremeux and tonka bean whipped cream
