Although Star pushes its VIP seating (and $150 bottle service), everything in the place is more about glitz than real elegance. Fridays and Saturdays feature Hunk-o-Mania, a Chippendales-style all-male revue for women ($20 in advance, $35 at the door), as well as “sexiest outfit” contests (ladies only). Clusters of settees around the edges of the room seat the big spenders; everyone else crams into the red glow at the center, where guys in golf shirts dance dirty with their girlfriends to house, Latin and hip-hop.
