British chef Jason Hicks (Jones Wood Foundry) and mixologist Albert Trummer (Theater Bar, Apotheke) consulted on the menus at this uptown gastropub. Trummer, known for his theatrical and pyrotechnic presentations, tones down his showmanship for the Upper West Side: Find classic cocktails and creative punches, like Last Night in Paris (rum, peppermint, pink grapefruit, absinthe), served alongside draft beers, including Old Speckled Hen, Radeberger and Weihenstephan. To eat, tuck into hearty plates, like braised short ribs and steak-and-kidney pie, or fancy snacks, such as lobster corn dogs and a flatbread topped with chorizo, Manchego cheese and piquillo peppers.
