What’s the best thing about being a bartender? I've been extremely fortunate to have had amazing teachers who have selflessly shared their knowledge with me and empowered me to become a teacher myself.
What’s your all-time favorite drink? Margaritas or Manhattans. Either I want something light and refreshing or stirred and spirited. I have such a wide acceptance of a margarita—even if it’s a bad one with sour mix or a frozen one at a resort or on a beach, I still think it’s good.
Who, living or dead, would you love to have a drink with? Charles H. Baker Jr., a writer who traveled the world eating and drinking and wrote about it. His book Jigger, Beaker and Glass is my go-to. He met so many different people and had the same drink made hundreds of different ways all over the world. It would be great to just get him three sheets to the wind to see what he had to say.
