The team behind the Upper East Side’s Lowell hotel throws it back to the Roaring Twenties, when the hotel opened, with this posh cocktail bar, decorated with embossed leather-panel walls, geometric marble floors and mirror-lined doors. Inside the old-school barroom, sink into a low-back leather chair for classic and Moroccan-inspired cocktails, like the Marrakesh Express (Tito’s vodka, orange-blossom water and verbena) and the rum-based Casablanca Sunset with chocolate bitters and grapefruit. Complement the cocktails with ritzy snacks, including caviar on blini, chickpea-eggplant croquettes and gougères au fromage.
