Cinco De Mayo Pop-Up at Astral House Bar

Is there a better way to celebrate Cinco De Mayo than with free tequila? If there is, we can’t think of one! You can do just that this May 5 (and 6!) at Astral House Bar at 89 Crosby St. Guests will be able to stop by the bar from 7pm–11pm on May 5 and 5pm–11pm on May 6 for complimentary samples of the recently launched Astral Tequila. On top of getting to try the new booze, you can learn about the brand’s sustainability project, The Adobe Brick Project, which is working to build homes in local Mexican communities. (After distilling tequila, the leftover agave fibers can be used to create adobe bricks which are then utilized to construct buildings. Tequila shots for a good cause? Sign us up.)
