Puncturing that barbaric benchmark: beer importer Ed Raven, who has applied his decade of hoppy intelligence to this new retail store, located (in true Greenpoint fashion) in a onetime auto-body shop. Raven favors but doesn’t limit his inventory to his own imports—like herbaceous Jever Pilsener and the Belgian refresher Gruut. More than 200 selections available include ten drafts that can be transported home in 64-ounce growlers. Of interest to noncommittal types: Patrons can mix and match six-packs and cases.
