Located on the eighth floor of the New York Marriott Marquis, Broadway Lounge offers stunning views of Times Square. On a nice afternoon, you can sit on one of the two outdoor terraces to take in the vista, but during the colder months, you’ll probably want to take a seat on one of the indoor couches. Choose from a full menu of bar snacks, shareable flatbreads, a few entrees and plenty of cocktails. To drink, you might go for a rosemary and black pepper old-fashioned ($17) or the West Side Cosmopolitan with acai and white cranberry juice ($18). Little ones who don’t want to miss out on the fun can even order a nonalcoholic Broadway Baby: a combination of fresh fruit juice, strawberry puree and whipped cream ($11). Nibble on a four-cheese flatbread ($18), goat cheese and artichoke croquettes ($16), chicken-lemongrass potstickers ($14) or a wedge salad with bacon ($15) to share. And if you swing by between 5 and 9pm on Fridays, you can hear a live jazz trio and score a gin cocktail and appetizer for just $20.
