Women Movers and Shakers Tour

Location disclosed with R.S.V.P. Lower East Side History Project's Andrea Coyle will highlight the neighborhood's role in founding many instutions of the women's and workers' rights movements, including Planned Parenthood, Visiting Nurse Services and International Ladies Garment Workers Union. The approximately two-hour, 15-block tour will end at the site of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, the 100th anniversary of which is this week. Visit leshp.org to R.S.V.P.
