Winter Solstice Telescope Party

BYO binoculars and telescopes to this solstice shindig, where astronomers Steve Beyer, Joe Rao and Ted Williams will help you spot celestial objects from the park outside the museum’s Rose Center for Earth and Space. Warm up in the Hayden Planetarium Space Theater with a cup of hot cocoa, and get sky-watching tips to prepare for the lunar eclipse, which will take place on early on Tue 21, from 1:30 to 5am.
