"Rising Waters: Photographs of Sandy”

Contemplate the hurricane’s impact at this photo exhibition, organized into six sections—Storm, Destruction, Coping, Home, Relief and Not Over. The collection of 200 images—taken by professional and amateur snappers, many of whom were personally affected—was selected from among 10,000 submissions after the museum issued an open call in January 2013, and was first shown on Governors Island in September.
