Urban geographer Jack Eichenbaum leads this tour, starting on the nature trail that surrounds Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. It continues past an amphitheater-like area for admiring the water and across the Pulaski Bridge to visit Long Island City’s Gantry Plaza State Park.“The artistic community has found new niches in these places," Eichenbaum says.
