"Illuminated: The Art of Sacred Books"

As early as the 9th century, practitioners of Islam, Buddhism and other religions decorated manuscripts and sacred texts with precious metals and lavish paintings. This exhibition showcases these historical artifacts, and examines the various techniques and approaches to the illuminated texts.
