Feminist activist and author Gloria Steinem heads a panel discussion that will address the prevalence of sexual violence against women during the Holocaust and today. Joining her are Dr. Sonja M. Hedgepeth and Dr. Rochelle G. Saidel, coeditors of Sexual Violence Against Jewish Women During the Holocaust, as well as Nava Semel (And the Rat Laughed) and Maman Jeanne Kasongo L. Ngondo (of the Shalupe Foundation). A reception for the fourth-anniversary of the Brooklyn Museum's Sackler Center for Feminist Art will follow.
