Come to tonight's benefit for PortSide New York, an organization dedicated to the restoration of retired oil tanker Mary A. Whalen, whose cheerful red hull can be seen along the Red Hook waterfront. Grub comes courtesy of Brooklyn Brewery, Red Hook Lobster Pound and Betty Brooklyn, while local musician Smitty serves up some blues.
