Bring a cane and your best uppercut for Mark Donnelly's two-day workshop in the gentlemanly but deadly lost martial art of bartitsu. This amalgam of Eastern and Western boxing techniques helped Sherlock Holmes defeat foes and could potentially be useful clearing a path along Manhattan's overcrowded sidewalks. Donnelly will also preside over a Sherlockian-themed evening on Sat 23 at steampunk bar the Way Station (683–685 Washington Ave between Prospect Pl and St. Marks Ave, Prospect Heights, Brooklyn).
