Astor Place Cube

This East Village art installation is a popular meet-up spot for teen skateboarders and meandering drunks hopelessly trying to spin the rotating sculpture at all hours of the night. Though officially titled The Alamo by Bernad Rosenthal, most people simlply know the object as "the cube."
