“125 Icons: A Celebration of Works by Pratt Alumni and Faculty 1887–2012”

The Chrysler Building, Sesame Street’s Big Bird, even the Dunkin’ Donuts logo—the achievements of former Pratt Institute students are everywhere in modern life. The exhibit, staged for the school’s 125th anniversary, surveys examples both glamorous and commonplace, from John Cafaro’s Corvette C5 sports car to the classic Scrabble board game, which unemployed architect Alfred Mosher Butts created during the Great Depression.
