Frederick Ballet, a 74-year-old retired hand surgeon turned fine art photographer, is the subject of this thought-provoking photographic art show sponsored by Pleiades Gallery in Chelsea.
Running from Tuesday, March 18 through Saturday, April 12, the immersive exhibition Whispers of Color: Subtle Stories of Imagined Reality is Ballet's first solo show, full of works that explore "the interplay of color and imagination, inviting viewers to venture into an abstract yet familiar world where the boundaries of reality and fantasy coalesce." Per the artist himself, the specific images were selected "as a vivid exploration of what lies beneath the surface and encourage viewers to interpret the images in their own way."
