"Unlikely Friends: James Brooks & Dan Flavin"

James Brooks painted in a late-AbEx style, while Dan Flavin created fluorescent light installations, but both artists were at heart colorists, as well as neighbors in the Hamptons, which accounts for the mutual admiration underlying this two-person show. On view are canvases and works on paper by Brooks, alongside light sculptures by Flavin.
