JASA, an organization that serves older adults, is featuring the art of its senior citizen clients at the Evelyn & Louis Green Residence at Cooper Square. The exhibit shows that it's never too late to develop your talents and build community. Many of the older adult artists have begun delving into their creative side in recent years, with a few lifelong professionals sprinkled in.
Among the featured art is work by 104-year-old Jeanette Bigelson and curatorial contributions by 91-year-old Raymond Daughtry, Jr. If you like what you see, you can even purchase the artwork at the show, and all proceeds will go to helping fund JASA. The show's on Thursday, March 7 in the East Village.
