The Met rooftop welcomes a pair of extraterrestrial visitors courtesy of Huma Bhabha, a Pakistani-American sculptor based in Poughkeepsie. Known for totemic effigies evoking grotesque, mythological creatures, Bhabha has an interest in science fiction, as evidenced by one figure resembling the alien from Predator. Disturbing and compelling, her installation is about how we respond to things that we don’t understand.
