The noted Brazilian sculptor’s latest show consists of a single work: A 16-foot, 30,000-pound carved-marble sculpture depicting a boatlike form—which, in turn, is mounted on a standing bronze armature resembling the claw-feet on an old-fashioned bathtub. (Despite its weight, the vessel can actually float in water.) Referencing the mythical tale of Eros and Psyche, the piece takes viewers on a journey back to Classical Antiquity.
