Rob Pruitt: The Andy Monument

On the corner of East 17th Street and Broadway, allegedly the same spot where Andy Warhol gave away signed copies of his Interview magazine, artist Rob Pruitt has created a chrome-plated facsimile of the late Pop artist. The statue, dubbed The Andy Monument, is one of several Public Art Fund–supported works in the area.
