Time Out says

For a hands-on Black History Month activity that will help you disconnect, head to the Thomas Jefferson Recreaton Center in East Harlem on February 19 for a night of painting Black History icons. Participants will be able to paint a Black artist or inventor of their choice and take the portrait home. Tracing paper will be provided, as will all the materials needed to make your masterpiece.
