"Martin Wong & Aaron Gilbert: 1981-2021"

In this new exhibit, the late artist Martin Wong's works will be paired with Aaron Gilbert’s ongoing series. The pairing is meant to highlight the reality of two prolonged periods of trauma—AIDS and the pandemic—that are both relived in their artworks. The art is on loan from major institutions/collectors including The Whitney Museum, The Second Ward Foundation, The Green Family Collection; collectors such as Raymond Learsy, Scott Lorinsky, and Michael Bertrand; and artists KAWS and Adam Putnam.
