La MaMa La Galleria

This long-established non-profit dedicated to experimental theater—it opened way back in 1961—has maintained an exhibiton space since the late 1980s. Like the mothership organization, the gallery been dedicated to finding and exhibiting artists whose esthetic reflects the soul of the East Village.
