Time Out says

You can tell what’s on the mind of self-taught Japanese artist Key Hiraga (1936–2000) by the profusion of tits, dicks and wriggly spermatozoa crowding his chaotic Pop Art compositions. Done in a manner that suggests what would happen if the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine dropped anchor at a cathouse, Hiraga’s work evolved after his 1964 move to Paris, where exposure to Art Brut and French Nouveau Réalisme transformed him into a uniquely outré visionary.
