This Danish artist, who divides his time between Copenhagen and Berlin, reaches into his bag of perceptual tricks for this show, starting outside the gallery. There, a peephole lens inserted through the front window gives gallerygoers an upside-down view of 303's interior. The fun doesn't stop there. Inside, a series of electrical cords studded with lightbulbs hang from the ceiling like the relaxed tentacles of an octopus. When visitors enter, these suddenly begin to rise up to create a sort of pavilion. Further exploration reveals that the power for this kinetic sculpture is being provided by one of the gallery's staff, huffing away on a stationary bicycle connected to a winch.
