Time Out says

Inktentions, a nonprofit community tattoo organization, uses tattoos as a way to heal trauma. The group offers free tattoos to survivors of severe trauma, such as domestic violence, addiction, human trafficking, gangs, rape, childhood abuse and more. Their goal is to "take the scars of the past and turn them into art" to empower a new future.

The organization, founded by Koral Ladna and Emmanuel Fortuanto, will host a gallery exhibition and fundraising in support of the project on Friday, March 31 at the Inked NYC gallery in Manhattan. Twenty-five artists from all over the country will showcase custom works to be auctioned at the event. Renowned tattoo artists such as Darwin Enriquez and Denis Sivak will be featured.
