"In a New Light: Bellini's St. Francis in the Desert"

This icon of the Frick's collection recently underwent an intense conservation study that revealed details of the painting's creation. Those findings make up the inaugural presentation in the Frick's new multimedia room. The painting itself has also been moved from its usual spot in the museum to the Frick's skylighted Oval Gallery, where it will reside for the summer.
