The emoticon for a title pretty much sums up FriendsWithYou, the poptastic apparel, toy and accessory company/art collaboration formed by Miami artists Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III. While their high-low Hello Kitty–meets-bouncy-castle aesthetic follows the already-beaten path taken by Yayoi Kusama, Keith Haring and Murakami, among others, it packs a peppermint-stripe punch all its own. Their work is pure eye candy, though, so watch out or you're likely to suffer the cultural equivalent of diabetic shock.
