An exuberant celebration of fashion, the "Fashion Forward" exhibit will showcase original paintings, textiles, garments and drawings from icons like Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Balmain, Hubert de Givenchy, Karl Lagerfeld, Alexander McQueen, and many others. Located in the dynamic Crown Heights gallery "B" Dry Goods, this exhibit will run from January 25 until March 30 on Thursdays-Saturdays from 12pm-6pm, as well as some Sundays. Although the exhibit is free, everything on display will be for sale.
Other highlights of the exhibit include a traveling trunk for Queen Marie Antoinette’s wardrobe and an original Givenchy sketch of the black dress that Audrey Hepburn's wore in "Breakfast at Tiffany's." This is perfect for anyone interested in taking a look behind the scenes of fashion's biggest moments.
