Time Out says

Taking its title from one of Felix Gonzalez-Torres's signature candy piles, Shpungin's solo debut similarly meditates on the life and death of a parent, specifically, her own father, who had been a surgeon. Their relationship is recalled in a series of drawings and the animated films made from them. Also on display is a group of sculptural installations made from objects—a small tree, a chair, piles of newspaper obituaries—that are covered in graphite in some cases, and in others, splinted with medical gauze or plaster casts.
